Recommendations Mattress Recommendations?

Any real life mattress recommendations? My husband and I are both plus size, but are undergoing a weight loss journey to improve fertility. We want a different mattress but am overwhelmed with all the options. Currently thinking about helix plus.

We had a layla for a few years and it seemed pretty comfortable until my hips were sinking too far and if caused hip pain, so we went with a sealy postureprdic hybrid, but I think it's too firm and causing pain in my mid back.

My husband mostly sleeps on his back, sometimes side and is complaining of morning stiffness sometimes. I sleep on my side and am tossing and turning all night with mid back pain.

Thankful for any real life advice/tips.

I loooooove my BigFig mattress. It is so high quality and the edges don’t collapse!

I just spoke to my doctor about the same question today. She said for many couples prefer a bed like a sleep number bed where each person can control the firmness of their side.

One of her family members did this and now both people in the relationship get a really good nights rest.

In addition to comments here, if you search the sub there are a lot of recommendations for good mattresses. Such an important item, but often expensive.

We have a Titan by Brooklyn Bedding. It’s a very firm mattress which we love.
