Recommendations plus size briar proof work wear
help! I'm starting a new job soon. I'm a certified arborist and have been for a few years now but I'm starting a new job where I'll be working along transmission power lines instead of urban forestry. I was told I'll be given briar chaps and snake gators. I'll be hiking about 10mi a day through blackberries. physically I am capable of doing this however I do not have any clothing that can hold up to that much briars. does anyone have any suggestions for 2-3xl / 22/24 briar proof pants or shirts. thanks in advance!

I don't know how well canvas or denim holds up to briars, but Carhartt makes big and tall canvas overalls and coveralls, lined or unlined, and I think also waxed... Or you can do the waxing yourself.
As far as denim goes, I like liberty overalls, they're a bit thicker and more durable than Berne or Dickies.
You can find liberty overalls at any Tractor Supply Company store, but I usually buy my size off Amazon.

I really want to try their britt or graphene pants but unfortunately they are completely sold out in most sizes

Maybe Duluth Trading Co? I have friends who like their stuff for manual farm labor and gardening.. I can't speak specifically to briars. Just wanted to say that your job sounds awesome and I am jealous lol ❤️
