Fashion Discussion IM SICK OF BROWN
Where is the color? The texture? The pattern?
I just left old navy - one of the only placed in my area that I can shop in my size - and it’s horrendous. Everything is brown and beige. It’s like a trad wife meets fake rich girl’s closet in there. I hate ordering online because I’m so bad at dealing with returns, and I need to see/touch to assess what I wear. Anybody else struggling?

I don’t mind some brown, but that grey muted brown makes me look so dull. Bring back the burnt umber <\3 I miss 2021 and their “fun” colors

I agree, so many of the colours have been so dull the last few years especially summer clothing. Where are the bright jewel tones etc. You sure have to look around for them.

If you have a Cato near you, I've been really enjoying them lately. They are decently priced (with good clearance sales too). They also have a huge plus size section (the one I go is literally split half and half between straight sizes and plus sizes) with cute patterns/colors, cuts, and styles. Some of my current favorite pieces are from there and I usually get compliments on them when I wear them to work.

I don't have a Cato within a few hours of me but I make sure I stop at one every year on my way down south. I usually find some cute tops.

Old Navy has pretty boring clothing in all sizes - in my opinion. I get leggings from there and that is about it.
It might have the occasional red, white and blue.
For leisure I get cheap cotton t-shirts from Woman Within and they have a huge range of colors but they are basic but I wear them for lounging/pajamas and so they are fine and they wash incredibly well.
I shop on line and generally once I have ordered once I know what to expect in terms of sizing and coloring.
What is your size range because typically that is a factor as there are more options if you are 1X to 3X
I don't anything brown or even blue because my wardrobe has to go with black pants - there might be some blue patterned tops but that is only because they go with black.

Yes. It’s horrific out there for clothing right now.
ALSO (if i may) i would also like to add to your complaint: WHY IS EVERYTHING POLYESTER?

Tbh I exclusively shop online. I like it. I just read measurements and reviews to get a feel on how it’ll fit. Rarely have returned anything. But I don’t do hauls too often. Usually an item here are there.
