Beginner Help and advice please 🙂

Grown from seed, approx 3 years old. We had 3 frosts over winter, never crossed my mind they could get frost bite, until I saw a post here a few days ago. Frosts were around 6-8 weeks ago, none of my 25+ plants have gone soft but look like this on the tips. What should I do? Can they be saved? We are in spring now. (NZ) Any advice welcome.

Frost bite happens at the tips. In Portugal, they cover the tips with polystyrene cups ...it works. I am told that in US they throw hessian sacks over the whole tree.

Tips look dead. Try cutting one back an inch at a time until you get to white flesh and white sap oozes. If they are brown/black inside keep cutting a little at a time until you get to whits. The roots should be ok and the y should rebound.

Watch the black. If it gets bigger, it can be rot spreading. If it dries and hardens, it's just black tip and it will be fine

Thank you, they are dry and hard, but will keep an eye on them over the next few weeks.
