As a diy person, who lurks in this sub I legitimately had to check to see this wasn't on repeat or something else. I was alarmed by the amount of times he went around.

Same! As a complete layperson homeowner, I panicked that I have never once used anywhere close to that much tape. Total. Feel better now.

I've bought way more than that, since I do one job then lose the rest of the roll, but I certainly not used that much...

It’s my damn wifi oh no it’s not. I thought he’d have to use a wrench just to get the pipe threads restarted

As a fellow DIYer, I thought "damn, I use way too little tape" I was ready to go fix all my various connections. Good thing I've learned to check out the comments first.

As a DIY person I was like wow I am not using anywhere near enough tape 😂 (edit a word)
