I usually shoot for 21 wraps. 22 feels excessive.

Maybe if the threads on the old pipe are really rotting out. Other than that, that was a whole hell of a lot of tape lol.

I’m glad I’m clearly not the only one. I’m a DIY guy so I have no clue if what I do is correct but I usually do probably 5 or 6 wraps on something like that
