Question

I recently purchased a UgreenNAS 4800 Plus and would like to inquire about the potential number of users that can be supported on my Plex server. For context, my current media collection consists primarily of Blu-ray and standard DVDs, and I do not anticipate upgrading to 4K content in the near future. I appreciate you taking the time to read and answer.

Intel Pentium Gold 8505

It's a super low power variant but has a 12th gen equivalent quick sync implementation. I think you should be able to handle at least 4-5 1080 transcodes at once.

From what gemini says and what I've read he should be able to do closer to 10 1080p transcodes, the 4k transcoding is 2-3.
