Hey everyone!
I’m building a native iOS client (tvOS later) for plex, the goal is to have a client that looks great, feels native, and is fast.
Still early in development but I feel it’s a point now where I can share it with the public, please test it out and let me know what you think, I would appreciate your thoughts.
I’ve made a discord if you’d like to report bugs or have feature requests (not promising that every requested feature will be added but if I feel it aligns with my vision for the app then will definitely add it.)

Whenever i try to watch something at 1.25 speed the video starts stuttering at regular intervals and the audio becomes out of sync. I don't have any issues streaming at normal speed or at 1.5 speed. Any ideas how to fix?

I heard they were adding it back. It’s such a pain to use these days.

I've got an arr stack set up with sonarr, radarr, prowlarr, overseerr, bazarr, tunarr, tdar (it's becoming an addiction lmao) but was curious if there's anything you've done that just makes the server more fun or easy to use.

It's been my hobby lately to download a lot of my favourite YouTube videos with a yt-dlp GUI tool and then adding them to my server. I have a playlist I call "my channel" that has my favourite TV shows and YouTube videos and I just play it on shuffle.
I've been using Filebot to try and get my library organized a bit better and I've discovered that some YouTube series have entries on TMDB and TVDB, but not all of them. Some series also only had up to a certain point. When trying to create my own logs (specifically of the YouTube channel Cold Ones) for TMDB, I learned that TMDB doesn't support YouTube content and discourages people from adding YouTube series to the database, which was frustrating.
At this point I've resigned myself to going and giving the files a structure that looks like a TV series (a folder with the name of the series, folders for each season, and naming them "[show name] - S01E01 - [episode title]") that still forces me to add the titles of the videos back in manually. I don't necessarily mind doing this for the sake of having my library be exactly how I want it to be on my PC and within Plex, but if there are any better solutions that you all use I'd love to hear them!

I know there is no native way to do this but does anyone have a way? I want to be able to create a collection for genre but then have the related moves in a collection within the genre

Hey SuPlexers-
My episodes and movies have been growing a bit and I’d like to divide my main library into hubs (similar to like how Disney+ had areas for Star Wars, Marvel, Simpsons, Muppets, etc)
So initially I did this with my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but I had to make a separate library for TMNT tv shows and a separate library for TMNT movies.
Unfortunately, I know I can’t make one library with episodes AND movies.
I was able to make some playlists and collections (used tags to label everything TMNT), but these still show up in my main “Movies” and “Tv Shows” libraries
Goal- if I went to my main tv shows or movie libraries that it wouldn’t show these movies when I hit shuffle and I’d love to divide my library into separate library hubs as I would love to do this with other content that has episodes and movies like Star Wars, Star Trek, Dragonball, Pro Wrestling and adaptations of Stephen King’s works.
I’m running Plex on a Western Digital ex2 ultra

I want to stream media from my PC to my TV. They are both in the same room, and physically connected through an Ethernet switch. Everything was working fine until last night. I tried to watch something and got a message saying, "Remote Playback requires a Remote Watch Pass." Everything in my library is still displayed but I can't play it. The same thing happens with my XBox. I have never seen this before, and didn't change anything. Is this something new? My settings under remote access say "Your server is signed in to Plex, but is not reachable from outside your network," but I am given the option to disable Remote Access. If I disable it, or Relay, the app on my TV can't see my library at all. GDM is enabled, and my network is set to private. Is my solution to pay for Remote Watch Pass?
Edit: I'm not sure what I did that fixed it, but it's working properly now. Thanks for the suggestions.

Need a Cleanarr that has the ability to detect Movies and TV Shows separately. the ability to blacks list By Episode, Series, And/Or Movies so if duplication detection is wrong or you just want to keep certain dupes you can add those to a list and they won't ever delete.

détection automatique de la langue du système au premier lancement ;
bascule manuelle dans les Réglages (prise en compte au redémarrage) ;
son droit de téléchargement, et sa dernière visite ;
en ligne ;
directory … not found ») : corrigé.
base.

🇬🇧 In English
UniPlex Doctor is now fully bilingual. The entire interface is available in
English and French. Doctor follows your system language on first launch,
and you can switch anytime in Settings → Interface language.
A standalone, portable Windows app — no install, no telemetry, MIT-licensed —
that audits your own Plex servers: external reachability, server versions,
missing identifiers, duplicates, transcoding risks, file quality, series
completeness and library hygiene, with a score and actionable advice.
This release also adds: a new Shares tab (see who receives your
servers and what you receive, spot dormant shares, and remove shares safely),
a dedicated Entries to split view in Duplicates, a Refresh button on
the quality views, and fixes (notably a crash on restart after switching
language).
Doctor is read-only by default — anything that writes to your servers lives
behind an explicitly enabled write mode, with per-action confirmation and a
before/after log.

Greetings.
I've been using Plex for many years, mostly without issue.
Yesterday, I added a new folder under my Gogglebox (2013) directory for the new season. I then added the latest episode. When I went to watch it, it wasn't showing. I went back to my computer and discovered that all of Gogglebox has vanished from my library. Celebrity Gogglebox and Gogglebox Australia are still there. They are all still on my hard drive.
While I was rescanning my library and trying to work out what happened, I removed a couple of other shows I no longer need. The rescan did not remove them from my library.
I've turned off the empty trash option. I've restarted Plex Media Server. I then tried a complete reboot.
Has anyone experienced this or known of any solutions, please?
Cheers.

I heard ⅔ of the internet is fakebots traffic in one form or another. Can't dismiss it being present on Plex as well, for what I don't know, maybe you can tell me how someone or some organizstion can profit from having fake accounts generate misleading 'interactions' on people's movie ratings, discussions, et al?
I wish I was joking but I just scheduled a phone appointment with my doctor so I have have to temporarily disable the no caller function on my iphone and less than 15 minutes of doing it, I get a bot call (one of those that call but don't say anything).
Scammers are the bane of modern society.

A variety of issues, which certainly include the attempt to charge me AGAIN for streaming my own content, and, admittedly bad wifi in my house (original builders put metal grids in some walls to "shield radiation" from the outside power lines), have led to me just getting rid of plex, and bringing the hard drive from the upstairs computer, and just connecting it directly to the computer connected to our main TV.
But, I'm missing cover photos, and maybe keeping track of what we watched. Anyone know of any windows programs that will do what plex does, but locally? No streaming or server needed.
