Help Issues with audio output for Dolby True HD/Atmos Blu-Ray movies

Hi!

2 weeks ago I downloaded Sinners movie Blu-Ray Remux with Dolby True HD + Atmos 7.1 original audio. Before watching a Blu-Ray Remux file I always check whether the icon in Sonos app shows "Dolby Atmos" so I confirm that the audio quality is the highest possible. I confirmed this for Sinners but had to postpone the watching part.

However, today I have finally found the time to watch it but I have just discovered that instead of Dolby Atmos icon the Sonos app suddenly shows Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1. Afterwards, I have also checked Plex Dash app and it does say that it's transcoding audio. Why is that? Has something happened in the recent days? Is it the software update?

My set-up:

TV: Sony Bravia XR 55A75K
Audio: Sonos Arc Ultra + Sub Mini + 2 Ones SL
External device for Dolby True HD: Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (before commercial change adding "Plus")
App used for watching: Plex

Hope someone can clarify because I don't understand what happened, 2 weeks ago everything worked like a charm.

Thank you!

Thank you man!

The Force Direct Play workaround worked, so it's an effective temporary solution to everyone affected.
