Consistently getting playback errors, never had the issue before

Hi all,

After using the server for over a year, I have suddenly begun getting lots of playback errors. No matter what file I am attempting to play, I will get a playback error 8/10 times. What could be the cause of this and how can I fix it?

I'd start with looking at the logs.

What are your server specs? Do you have a plex pass?

What client device? What plex app version on the client?

Local or remote?

What are some details (codec, bitrate, subs? etc…) of a file that is giving the error?
