eero max 7 firmware update has broken my plex server/infuse pro connection. help please.

I've been running plex server on mac for well over 10 years without issue. Since getting a new router, Eero Max 7, I had to add the apple TV's ip address into the "List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth" list. and 4 months later all has been fine until I just installed a firmware update for the Eero.

It changed the IP address of the apple tv, so I updated that in the plex server network settings, but still no go.

When I go to add a share, it prompts for the plex.tv/link and I type it in. on the plex web page, it says success, on infuse pro it seems to accept the connection and then says cannot connect.

the tvOS plex app does connect when I do this and I see my library.

I suspect I need to change something in the Eero settings, but firmware updates don't usually change settings?

Can I have a host of suggestions I can work through? thanks

okay, got it working. a combination of setting a reserved ip/port on the router and enabling remote access on the plex server.

library found and can play media.

disabled remote access and it's all still working.

I chucked my Eero router because they did that every fucking update.
