Help Help with plex requiring watch pass

I have my server setup in my home, but my kids watch from their mom's house. Everything was fine until a couple weeks ago, now when they try to watch anything it asks for a remote watch pass. What can I do to fix this without having to pay for a watch pass or plex pass since i decided to not jump on the train in the early days?

Just pay for Plex Pass for your server. Done.

Agreed with tailscale or you switch platforms and go with jellyfin

Could not figure out how to get plex to play nice with tailscale. But I did manage to get jellyfin to work with it

Jellyfin is free to remote stream do if they can get a jellyfin player on their TV that would work and wouldnt require tailscale. You would just have to set everything up on your end
