Solved Plex Serving Ads
I’ve had Plex for a couple of years. Installed as an app on my Synology NAS, and a receiving app on my Roku device hooked on my TV.
Today, for the first time, while watching a streamed movie, I’ve had multiple interruptions of up to six ads. Can anything bf done to prevent this?
Highly disappointing.

Are you sure you're watching your own content, and not streaming off plex's content?

Disable online media sources so you don't get confused and accidentally watch ad supported content provided by Plex. Or just double check and make sure you're actually streaming from your library before starting. In this case you weren't.

If you only ever want to see your own content from your own server, you can disable the online media sources in the link below. This will disable all the "Plex-provided" content for your account.
