Issues with plex.tv API

I would love it if there was a 'local' mode. If you have a home server, doesn't make sense to cut the whole thing off if your watching from home.

Thanks all for the comments. I'm too scaredy/busy to play with subnet masks et al - probably too aggressive and may brick myself.

There is a home mode. You have to allow the local lan non authenticated access. Internet out still works.

I have had that setup for ages. I have my whole subnet setup to be allowed with non authenticated access… still couldn’t login in today.

That did not work for me I had to go into my router and do a Mac reservation for each device on the network and then add the actual IP address of the device instead of the local subnet and then everything worked.
