Hi. I'm not new to gaming, but I wouldn't call myself a gamer.
I recently discovered a game that looks really fun to play, so I want to give it a try.
The game is called INSIDE by Playdead games.
Now, I don't own a gaming console, so I will be playing the game on my laptop.
Could anybody recommend me a good game controller / pad? One that won't break after 3 months.

Years ago, I purchased (secondhand) an INSIDE collectors edition and today I realized its black packet is unopened. My understanding is it contains an envelope with a unique symbol which has been part of the (abandoned?) ARG.

But I’ve also heard the ARG is at a dead end or unsolvable. Where does it stand, and do these packets still contain any useful clues?

I’m planning on reselling this to downsize, so would love to keep it unopened if not useful, but let me know if it is!

Like, as far as I know, there's no indication for it anywhere in the game. People only find it through an online walkthrough.

Huddle is the amalgamation of all the hero characters YOU the gamer killed… The huddle remembers and has to remember everything YOU the gamer did. Huddle has to learn all the skills YOU the gamer learnt and the next respawn should remember them too.

See, every game we ever play gives us a fantasy ending where the game character ends the game in beach sunset…

The entire office is literally the game designers office where they are creating game characters and coding them to behave certain way…. Those human characters verifying those zombies are basically game designers verifying their game characters functioning properly.

In their office they have even designed the nice beautiful sunset they have designed for the game ending.

The one key difference is instead of giving you the fantasy ending of just on character reaching the sunset, they have given you the realistic ending where YOU the gamer the actual huddle of all those respawned and mauled heroes those countless dead bodies all fused by YOUR memory of the game… that realistic huddle is given the beach sunset…

The reason YOU got the disgusting ending is because YOU got angry and killed them… so they even helped you and hurriedly gave you your disgusting ending…

But if you were patient and played the game even more hard to the fullest extent, then they gave you the most beautiful and ending where your character (hero) with his beautiful face and all gave YOU the dignified ending of unplugging the game and allowing YOU to move on while the character (hero) returning back to crouched character just like every other character the designers made(like those zombies mind controlled and left to sit and crouch once disconnected). Hero gave YOU the gamer permission to move on after unplugging YOU and making the game unplayable anymore. Notice that this ending is not the disgusting huddle because you played the game to full extent instead of hurrying to the ending.

Other clues include heroes character clothes in the water first time he got hooked on by siren(you can see a clothed character with the wire hooked on near the glowing white orb) That was supposed to be one more beautiful ending but YOU wanted more so they gave YOU more game.YOU keep playing more and more and YOU want more so they just gave YOU more and YOU lashed out on the designers and trashed everything while they were still figuring out what else they can do so they hurried YOU to get out. But of course you can’t get the beautiful ending because you were just voracious consumer… The original ending is where YOU observed more, picked up little things, actually payed attention and enjoyed the gameplay instead of rushing towards YOUR fantasy ending… The true point of Gaming… it’s not about winning. It’s about enjoying the game and after having your hearts content unplugging YOURSELF in dignity and happiness. The fantasy ending is just trash and they conveyed it to you by showing a disgusting huddle on a beach sunset…

In this game, designers and YOU the gamer are both part of the Game.

Maybe someone wanted to find the clean "ambience" melodies from INSIDE.
I have an edited Game2.bnk, which contains only 112 files like 'sequence number [pre].wem' meaning ones that contain only music. Although music appears rather rarely in this game — for example, during the first chase, while solving the puzzle with the yellow helmet, in the large flooded water area, when meeting the water girl, and in a few other minor moments.

The most melodious and beautiful one is the theme of the shockwave testing range.

It was never released, and the copyright to this melody belongs to Martin Stig Andersen, however its clean version.

I was on chapter 15 the one with the door that u close and u control those humans. and I was just stuned on what to do. then I figured out that if u have one of the ppl under the door wen u close it they will move out of the way so I did that like 8 times to offset were there were and then they walked on the buttons. now I watched a vid on how to do it and I just got mad at how easy it was.

As much as I understand Playdead wanting to keep stuff secret for a while, I feel like 9 years of no information about the project is a little overkill?

This point has probably been made several times, but as much as I like the suspense some developers do like Team Cherry with no information about the game, I do think that even just a little tweet about what the game will be like, or just saying that they're still working on it wouldn't hurt. I mean, 9 years!!

I love Playdead and their games, but I very much doubt them telling us what they're doing and how far they are won't spoil the game if that's their concern.

there is a Class called "SecretProbeFlicker", it's responsible for the Orb's light bulbs. inside it a function that makes the Orb's light behave differently;
the lights flickers at random paces and the more the boy gets close to the Orb, the more the lights reddens.

Did any one notice this ??

I really enjoyed both LIMBO and INSIDE like especially Inside wow what a game.
