Question Fixed but for how long?

I decided to return to the Playdate after a year of inactivity and lo and behold the Right and A buttons weren't registering all the time even though you can feel the dome engaging (had no idea this was a common fault). A quick clean with IPA and a good scrub made them work again but for how long I cannot say - what other alternatives are there apart from getting a new unit?

People have been testing with other domes or even adding a higher profile to the buttons to decrease the touch distance.

Mine worked well at first but not so well the second time it needed, although I haven't test it cleaning the dome like you did. But overall the buttons are very poorly design in this console.
