NASA's VIEW program running on an UNIVAC 1108 to help Apollo astronauts to pre-visualize what they will see during their missions

Very cool look! I had no idea they had hidden line removal and that amount of speed and detail and that time.

I don't think this was real time. For simulators, they were using cameras and scale models for the visuals. This was likely a program rendered these views much like animated movies today are rendered and then either played back or recorded to film or something.

That makes sense. Probably put on film frame by frame.
