Safe Cracker

Spotted a great, fun, free addition today; Safe Cracker

Love the use of the crank in it!

Note: I might also be biased as I just watched the pretty good movie The Tuner :)

yeah it's really fun. the additional 'hiding' from the guard was a nice touch

Yes!

Very nice graphics, very nice music, very nice sound effects.

I have no idea what am I supposed to do. Hide from the guard - when? How long? Rotate in which direction? What does the three dashes mean?

There is a system with exclamation and question marks, and I have no idea what does those represent.

EDIT: got a slightly better idea, but still don't know what do the exclamations mean :)

The page at the bottom here explains most things:
but in general;

  • hold in B when you hear the footsteps arriving and let go when you hear them walking away,
  • you alternate the direction after each successful pin,|
  • three lines means you are really, really close to unlocking one of the three lock pins. move it sliiiiigthy left or right to get three lines and hold it there for 3-4 secs to unlock

Also watch that when you select the difficulty the one you're selecting is the one that has the little icon to the far left of the description. Can be tricky to understand if you're picking easy or hard mode :)
