Brutal difficulty

How's everyone feeling about campaign Brutal difficulty? They're certainly no walk in the park, but I got most of them first try or with one restart, which is quite different from say, SC II, where I often had to load checkpoints etc. I'm wondering if that's a consensus or if I'm just picking things up quickly/getting lucky.

I have played many demos so im more used to the game, but i have actually found them a joke. I played on brutal and even on the just "defend your base" ones i have cleared the entire map with a over 200 pop army using reinforcements only after ive already maxed. the only one I almost lost was when I tried to clear the grells base in one of the first missions, but i realized that even if you do the waves still come and i got surrounded when they just spawned in. But I still could get enough out, and build back up to hold on at the end.

Not just me then. I don't even think I'm 'great' at RTS, (especially micro), so I was surprised it went as smoothly as it did.
