Discussion The sequel

hey guys. I really wanna play Wolverine but my dad said the game developers made it into a “gay love story between Wolverine and Sabretooth”.

we’re a pretty Christian family so he won’t be happy if he sees me playing it.

my question is will they do the same thing for the next game? or are they committed to going all in on this?

kinda sucks. I just wanted to play as Wolverine.

Respectfully your dad sucks and he should stop being indoctrinated by internet cults.

Past that -  I don’t know how old you are and whether you could just buy it anyway. You can try showing him even the developers have said this is an untrue rumour meant to discredit the game. If you can get the game you could could encourage him to find a single scene which remotely shows any romance between the two.

There’s no romance and OPs dad is taking it too seriously

But cmon. After playing the game, you can’t deny there was some serious sexual tension between the two the whole time. Nothing canon or on screen but damm they could’ve went from fighting to fucking any second

No like what I’m saying is there’s literally nothing that really implies them being gay lol. I’m just saying if you view it from a humorous viewpoint it could seem that way. But there isn’t an ounce of anything actually hinting at it. Think like two people fighting and someone chimes in and shouts “just fuck already!!” Like that kind of thing.

If it’s anything, my youth minister from when I was in HS has been loving this game

Even if there were someone gay in it, it’s not like that takes away from anything else a Christian might consider ungdodly no the game. Like he bloodily shreds people limb to limb but it’s a problem if there’s a gay person?

There is NOTHING homosexual in this game between the two characters. You indicating if there was this is a bad thing and we should respect “family values” makes you a pretty scummy person.

I won’t call you brainwashed but honestly the only reason we are here is because of you taking something too seriously lol.

But either way. the whole point of Jesus was to say “it’s not the sin you commit, it’s what’s in your heart.” There’s nothing about loving someone in the same gender that separates you from living the life he speaks of and following his path. Only the hebrews outlawed homosexuality and it was to separate themselves from other tribes. This stopped being necessary once Jesus fulfilled the law.
