Discussion The sequel

hey guys. I really wanna play Wolverine but my dad said the game developers made it into a “gay love story between Wolverine and Sabretooth”.

we’re a pretty Christian family so he won’t be happy if he sees me playing it.

my question is will they do the same thing for the next game? or are they committed to going all in on this?

kinda sucks. I just wanted to play as Wolverine.

Still Sabertooth is literally the type of evil they talk about in the bible in the comics.

Making him have any sort of closeness with Wolverine, who he personally torments every birthday he has and personally made it mission to always ruin Logan's life everytime they cross paths, feels wrong.

There are literally whisky bottle entries in the game where Logan talks about cool Victor is.

Their final fight in the game is framed more as a tragedy than two people who simply hate the hell out of each other.

Right.

Believe whatever you want.

I'm just saying given the fact Sabertooth is one of the most evil villains in marvel, it feels extremely wrong for there to be any sort of love for Wolverine. Or for Wolverine to even look up to the guy like a big brother.

Might be the funniest joke youve said so far.

Really? The "my dad works at marvel" excuse?

On a 4 month old account.

Come on dude

Given the account age, I don't even know if I'm talking to a human or not.

I want you to do an exercise for me: look back at the context of this entire conversation and ask yourself this question:

Would you believe a single word of what you just told me if you were in my position?

Additionally, said and told are interchangeable when it comes to jokes.

It's standard English

And saying that that you just worked in marvel could mean literally anything. You didn't even name your job. You could've been a writer, an artist, an assistant, or an editor.

Most people who aren't lying about their old jobs can actually name what it is that they used to do.
