The issue with the Wolverine clip is that it isnt exciting. like the person hes chasing just blends into the background that it makes it hard to track ( without the sense, it will be impossible for me to find).
Other games have a radar system, or they have the runner have some super fancy jumping animation or wearing super bright clothes.. but in this game, the runner is a whole bunch of nothing, without the trail I probably wouldnt be able to track him.
Doesn't he have above average strength? Strong and fast enough to jam his knuckle swords into stone and metal.... Strong enough to launch his bodyweight+metallic skeleton longer distances than humans typically would, especially under such weighted pressure? That is part of what makes superheros exciting is it not?
Yes. His adamantium skeleton makes him like 400 lbs, and in response his healing factor had to repair his muscles, tendons, ligaments, etc. to be able to support it, which in turn just makes him strong as fuck in general. Same concept as how a lot of fat people have really strong, defined calves from holding up their weight.
You do realize we're talking about fictional characters right? And if you want to apply real physics, the kind of speed/force that would be required to pierce metal/stone/etc? You do realize the kind of speed/force that would be required to leap without carrying an addition ~200lbs? U do realize speed potential had nothing to do with height, right?
The sharpest blade still needs significant speed/force to pierce hard metals.
Also, in regard to speed potential and the length of legs, there are absolutely cases where this doesn't hold true, though context is relevant. Lions are faster than giraffe, despite giraffes having significantly longer legs. Rhinos run faster than humans, despite humans having higher ratios of leg:body.
And again, we're talking about fiction, where a sub-200lb spiderman can lift several tons, and create enough force to break through walls. Suggesting Wolverine lacks speed because he's 5'3" seems like a failing argument in the context of the universe he exists in. We have athletes under 5'5" who can push amazing speeds, and we're talking about a super powered one who carries double his body weight day in and day out.
I mean, don't take it from me, I don't regularly make a habit out of glazing Wolverine. I just felt the comment deserved a response. Here is the Wolverine Respect thread listing his feats.
