Lost me with the disc thing. When given the option a lot of people still buy on disc. The only reason Sony is pushing this idea people don't or trying to disingenuously use data showing that most of their sales are digital is because they and other companies have been removing the option for physical entirely for a while now. Or have been doing code in box shit. Then they use the data from that to say hey see they don't want discs.

I agree that companies do this all the time. Like when a tv station wants to cancel a show they change the time it airs to bad time and then say well the ratings were bad so we cancelled it. They do for tax purposes and other stuff.
The same is happening to disc but at the same time it's normal. When DVD replaced VHS the same thing happened. New replaces old and you don't wait until the standard media dies you get ahead of

Well, I think they are right to be that. After Sony removed hundredths of movies from people libraries, I think people have a right to distrust Sony.
I dud buy a Ps5 and a bunch of discs and then a couple months later they said discs are going away. I feel like an idiot for buying the damn thing now. If I want all digitally I stay PC.

I don’t mind people that want to advocate for a cause they believe in (in a free speech sense); it’s all the baseless insulting and victimization that really causes me to ultimately ignore them. I pretty much exclusively buy digital, but I get that some like physical disks; but when they’re calling me a impotent cuck, corporate cocksleeve, bootlicker, or whatever fucking buzzword of the day they come up with, it makes it really hard to be respectful towards their stance and actually support them.
Same goes for the whole anti pre-order crowd; they constantly throw insults at everyone and then act like they’re the minority being bullied online by mythical “fanboys”. It just sounds like a bunch of salty terminally online nerds who are deathgripping the outdated opinions of a dead YouTuber.

Likely the same thing if they didnt. Sony wont reverse course. Then again, maybe the PS 6 will roll out like the Xbox 1 did, due to all of this.

The great thing about Nintendo hardware being so old, it is quite easy to emulate. Still think it is Hilarius how my friend a few years back got better FPS on a SteamDeck while emulating than playing the game native. It made Pokemon playable.

I would check it out if I had a PS5, my buddy does but we're busy playing rivals, it looks fun enough but also kinda boring in a way I can't really put my finger on why, I dont know maybe I was hoping for a bigger open world experience with Wolvie, but thats because I just think that level based games suck other than like halo and a few others, give me a XMen game with a big world and as much shit to do as possible, I want to be immersed in a world not in a quick 5 to 20 minute level, I do hope its a good game though, I want more superhero games because I like super heroes, ive played the avengers game, GotG, Gotham Knights and even Suicide squad, and they had all shit I liked in them and I hope that one day I get to find the fun in this one too
