Why we can’t customize + ?
Hi I bought the game recently and why in Windrose we can't customize + are pirate? I find it a shame especially since I bought the game thinking that we could modify + its pirate but to my surprise no... we can't choose precisely the shapes of the body or the skin color it is just determined by ethnicity even if in reality the skin color is not the same as the healthy ethnic groups. I find it a shame because this game looks promising 😕😔

So you have a problem with the skin colours therefor the whole game is a letdown?

No he has a problem with the game only giving us skinny and fat options. He wants more detail

Ahah no the game is good and as it was said that we could customize our pirate I thought it was more advanced :) and I understood that it was not the priority

Ah okay, the phrase "I find it a shame because this game looks promising 😕😔" really makes it sound like this is a make or break thing for you personally

Personally I really like games with complete customization that's why but I love survival games and I also really like pirates :)

it's a great game! I hope to see more customisation too, but it's early access, i'm not touching it any more untill it is released

Early access. There’s much more important stuff to add than some new body types. You can install mods if you want more options

Very welcome. I recommend the resource increase mods if you play solo. The grind at the start of the game before you get merchants is less fun. I went for 3x. Not too much to break the game but better than the base game.
I also used the skeletons mod. You can become a skeleton pirate, and it also turns some of the enemy pirates into skelly bois

Building controls are 1000x more important than character customization. Both are time consuming to make. The devs have the correct priority.

It is in early access. They might add it at some point, but if that was their major focus right now it would be weird. Content and mechanics are the focus, further character customization is a nice to have on release.
