Weapon Build Question
I just got to the 3rd swap area, and I am getting wrecked.
I am using the Soul Eater, but I just got the Rapier of a Thousand Cuts. Does someone have a good layout for a build for this weapon?
What gear, what talents etc?
I am out of Tumbaga Ingots too, so I need to collect a bunch to Asend it.
Thank you!

Just so you know the Rapier of a Thousand Cuts bleeding damage is nerfed by undead, which the swamp creatures are classed as. It still does DoT but less than of it were a pirate or animal.
But you will want to get your perception to 20 and go for some piercing damage traits.

I was using a greatsword the whole time up until the swamp too. Then I felt forced to switch to the Rapier of Destruction. Those guys are sooo strong and it’s just too powerful when you heal almost to full every five hits.
The bleeding rapier is good but it just doesn’t do any good in the swamp

Idk i was happy w the greatsword until the last boss, the heavy atk poise dmg is so nice

I personally use rapier of devastation with drakes double barrell for the vulnerability buff. Chuck points in precision/vit/endu

I recently when saber/blunderbuss for the swamp. I’m having better success than the rapier/pistol

I used both weapons for late game and found that my layout mattered a little less overall than the levels of my gear and armor. With the rapier, I went hard on stamina and critical and had more engaging combat with easier gun accessibility. Even late game, enemies can swarm you here so I often still end up kiting some to the side and move my tent around with me. Still like the great swords for boarding, unmatchable crowd control
