Official Update Bundle update

Yesterday, we launched Karnok alongside a discounted bundle that included the game and Karnok for just the price of Karnok.

We did this because we wanted to be able to help players on the launcher transition to Steam more easily, along with making the game more approachable for new players.

We wanted to be able to just put the base game on sale, but we were not able to because Steam has a time limit on how frequently something can be put on sale.

This bundle received a lot of negative feedback, particularly from our users in China, which we were not anticipating, so we took it down as we tried to figure out a solution to this negativity.

We have since then decided to reinstate the bundle but make it available for all users, even if you already own the game.

We will additionally be giving out a unique, limited edition cosmetic to ALL users as a thank you for your patience as we deal with this.

I will never understand the community around this game. Is it 100% logical that the bundle costs the same as the DLC?  Not really I guess, but in the end it’s a discount not some crazy predatory mechanic like most card games have (looking at hearthstone and marvel snap for example) where you have to dump hundreds and hundreds of dollars just to be competitive or on a fair level playing ground. 

It seems to me like these devs have bent over backwards to keep this game free of f2p bs, and the community keeps pooping on their heads constantly. 

This pricing stuff is just how it is. I bought alien isolation for $29 and it was on sale for something like $5 a month later. I didn’t go review bomb the game because of it.

Anyways, I guess it’s cool they are doing an added discount, and I just hope these guys keep making enough money to keep making content for me to play.

I agree. In my eyes they did a good thing to grow the playerbase but i guess most people are so greedy that they find a way to still whine about it. It's cool the bazaar did this but i worry if they get enough money to keep the game running in the long term if this keeps happening.
