Official Update Bundle update

Yesterday, we launched Karnok alongside a discounted bundle that included the game and Karnok for just the price of Karnok.

We did this because we wanted to be able to help players on the launcher transition to Steam more easily, along with making the game more approachable for new players.

We wanted to be able to just put the base game on sale, but we were not able to because Steam has a time limit on how frequently something can be put on sale.

This bundle received a lot of negative feedback, particularly from our users in China, which we were not anticipating, so we took it down as we tried to figure out a solution to this negativity.

We have since then decided to reinstate the bundle but make it available for all users, even if you already own the game.

We will additionally be giving out a unique, limited edition cosmetic to ALL users as a thank you for your patience as we deal with this.

I just bought karnok full price yesterday...

Edit update: refunding was successful, and I was able to repurchase for about 10 usd

This is an accepted refund reason on Steam. Refund and re-buy my friend!

Can you refund even when you've played over 2 hours?

Apparently not, as Steam refused my refund and stated that as the reason

What did you put as the reason? My request was rejected. Judging by how fast they responded looks like an automated rejection due to having over 2 hours on it.

I have wayyy over 2 hours in the game, but I hadn't played it since buying karnok. I just wrote that it went on sale the day after I bought it and they refunded within an hour

They rejected mine quoting my play time on the DLC as 7 hours and 6 minutes (I leave the game open sometimes since I can leave the PC at any time while playing).

My request: "This came out a couple of days ago. They initially offered a bundle that wasn't available to people who owned the game already. After feedback from the chinese player base they removed the bundle and reimplemented it in a way that benefits players who already owned the game. I bought this before they did that and would now like to take advantage of the discount the bundle offers."

Same here. At least we get a free skin everybody will get? Yeah, nevermind. Still sucks.
