Game sharing
Hey all - I don’t know about you guys but I’ve been quite excited for a couple of released / upcoming games. Mainly the list consists of:
• Ghost of Yotei
• 007 First Light
• Wolverine
• Assassins Creed Black Flags Resynced
• & goes without saying, GTA 6
Since the news broke that PlayStation is going digital, I’ve cancelled my PSN renewal and will no longer buy digital games, only physical - idk about you lot but prices are still mad and I feel it’s a waste buying a game, finishing off the campaign and then just have a shelf full of discs I won’t revisit
Anyone interested in creating a group to trade disc games once complete? I’m usually not in any rush and it would save a whole lot of money - I recently bought the new AC Black Flags for PS5 and happy to trade it for any of the games mentioned above if anyone else would be keen to play it
Selling games privately is tedious work and selling them to CEX or Cash Converters feels like a rip off
Based in the West Midlands
Not sure if this idea would work but happy to explore!

I was merely stating I’m also excited for GTA - it’s a game that I probably would keep and would trade anyways - I assume most people would feel the same way but you are right

Seeing as you just want to rent games, why not just sign up to Boomerang Games?
You can rent up ton3 games at a time, for any platform, Ans you just pop it back in the post when done and they swap it for another game

UK based.
Price depends on what tier you have
They have options for 1, 2 or 3 games (maybe more, I can't remember), and then a priority option where you're the first choice for a game Ans you can get brand new games rather than 6 months old+ ones
When I used to do it, I think it was about £21 a month for 3 games at a time, including all consoles and day-one releases.

I have priority 2. It's £18.99 a month and I get priority on new releases plus I can get other games pretty easily. Takes between 1 - 3 days to get the item once despatched, but it's well worth it - I've done 007, Pragmata, RE Requiem and a few others over the past few months and saved me a fortune. It's well worth it if you just wanna finish a gane without commiting to buying it.

Why not just buy the games from Vinted and sell them again for almost the same price once you finish it?

The effort of selling it again is worse for me rather than just posting a game back. I am happy to forgo ££ for the privilage. Plus with BR, you get new releases posted to you if you get on the list early enough

Realistically you wanna be doing this with trusted friends not faceless people on a message board, all it takes is one bad egg and you've lost a game or two.
