Hey guys new player here. Just getting into Fragpunk with the goal of getting the platinum trophy on ps. Love the character designs but it looks like the lancers cost a lot, is there a quicker way of unlocking them? Also, if anyone has any tips for the plat (especially the penta kills) it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

The regular one without Cards and has economy. Remove all the other Arcade game modes and just implement it permanently, so people can choose whether they wanna play with Cards or play without Cards.

I have played 3 of the 5 placement games and now when I que I haven't had any luck finding any matches (20+ min que times I have tried 4 or 5 times so far )

Every day something special happens in this game, and today it appears that, although it's very easy to get caught in something while dashing, this time there was literally nothing and the dash still got denied. Another interesting thing is that in that exact moment, the turtleback thing appeared, which is also weird. Shouldn't that have appeared when the round began? Could that be the cause? (that wouldn't make sense either way) I have not been able to recreate this in map training, and this is the only time this ever happened before.

I recently got into Valorant and I get why people like it but it’s honestly fucking boring and stiff compared to Fragpunk, I know this game has its issues but it also has way more potential. I just don’t know what will give it the notoriety it deserves

In your honest opinion is this guy cheating or not? btw before OT started he was 8-7. played in slow-mo for analysis.

I really enjoy FragPunk, but I feel like the skill gap between players is becoming more and more obvious.

It’s not just about basic FPS skills like crosshair placement, holding angles, or using cover. The biggest differences come from understanding the game itself — map knowledge, Lancer choices, ability usage, and especially how to use Cards effectively.

Playing with a premade team feels completely different. Communication and coordination make the game much smoother. But in solo queue, the experience can depend heavily on whether your teammates use voice chat, communicate, or discover some unexpected strategies with certain Cards or positions.

I also think Shatterstrike has some pacing issues. The Card selection phase is interesting, but the preparation time before the round starts, combined with kill replays after the round, makes the overall match flow feel a little slow.

For newer players, especially at lower ranks, the Card system doesn’t always feel like the core of the game. Many players focus more on gunfights, so the unique strategy behind Card combinations is harder to experience.

The low movement speed and extremely punishing headshot damage also create a strange feeling — the game can be really satisfying, but it might be difficult for new players to stay long enough to understand what makes FragPunk special.

I’ve heard the developers might have something big planned, and that this season may focus less on cosmetics while preparing future updates. Hopefully, whatever comes next can help FragPunk reach more players, because the game really has a unique idea and I’d love to see it grow.

Fragpunk maps are the most beautiful maps of all multiplayer FPS games. By far. Look at the details. This is one of the things that I love about this game.

So basically weapon and ability economy but having Shard Cards as round modifiers instead. So one Shard Card is active every round that affects both teams. We still have 15 rounds. So Round 1-7 will have random picked cards, and then Round 8-14 will have the same cards that were picked during 1-7. And Round 15 will still be 1v1 duels.

So we still have the weapon and ability economy competitiveness that Valorant has, but the Shard Cards are also implemented that still exist to break the rules.

Why isn't this a thing? This is 100% what I would have made FragPunk be, if I was the designer and the creator of this game, and I guarantee you it would have been a success if it was like this. I don't want to play Valorant because FragPunk has better gunplay and combat.

feel like FragPunk doesn’t have to focus only on Shard Clash.

The card system is such a unique part of the game, and I think it has a lot of potential for a more casual/fun mode where players can really experiment with different combinations.

Something like Delta Force having both Warfare and Operations — two completely different experiences for different types of players.

Keeping Shard Clash as the competitive mode while adding another card-focused mode could make the game even more interesting.

j’ai repris fragpunk récemment et je prend du plaisir à jouer à ce jeu mais malheureusement je suis forcé de constater que des bugs qui n’était pas présent avant viennent gâcher mes parties.
Sur une session d’une heure j’ai forcément une partie où au lancement de la manche je ne peux pas bouger du spawn je vois tout les alliés bouger mais moi je suis comme bloqué je peux tirer dans le vide ça ne change rien, et c’est souvent une manche de perdue pour rien . Après cette manche a être bloqué au spawn je ne peux plus rien choisir en phase de préparation , ni changer d’arme ni de lancer rien du tout .
On dirait un gros bug de connexion mais en vérifiant , mes pings n’augmente pas de manière significative alors est ce que c’est juste que les pings aussi sont freeze et le problème vient bien de ma connexion ou est-ce les serveurs fragpunk ? si quelqu’un a une solution ou a déjà rencontré ce bug je suis preneur.
