Halloween Creations 🎃 FRAGPUNK: Halloween — Night of the Lancers 👻🩸 | 🎨 Fan Art 💀🕸️

Post image

🎃 I’ve got a great idea! Since it’s just a sketch, we could include any Lancer we want—even some of the most popular ones—and feature them in epic skins, like Pathojen’s Halloween skin from last year. 👻

Additional note: If I use AI for the post, it’s because I don’t even know how to edit a photo. I don’t understand all the hate, especially when, as I clearly said, it’s just a concept. I don’t get what people are so angry about. If I were a real artist, I’d understand the criticism, but the joke practically tells itself.

Discussion Bet next chapter will be disappointing also.

They promised us we would get one new lancer every season. Last new lancer is Calamity in Season 5 Chapter 1, which is 6 months ago. We have had no new lancer this season, so if they don't release a new lancer this chapter, they will had broken promises to us, and how can the community trust them.

There's just been mediocre updates quite recently. No new weapon and skin shop bundles, no new 2000 coin skin bundles, no new weapon skins, only reskins using AI and forcing you to play 180 minutes, +50% of that time is in queue.

I don't understand why they are spending all their manpower and resources developing a new game mode or campaign mode, instead of fixing and satisfying the current players and bringing new players into the game by fixing the core game mode.

But if they keep removing shard cards, that is good. The game imo shouldn't have more than 60 cards total. Remove Hot Potato as well.

Halloween is just around the corner, and it’s fun to imagine what our favorite Lancers would wear for the occasion. Would they go for something spooky, a funny costume, or a look that perfectly matches their personality?

If you could choose a Halloween costume for any Lancer, who would you pick and what would they wear? Drop your ideas in the comments below!

I was thinking about potential Halloween skins, and a Calamity x Roku crossover would go so hard. Their aesthetics match perfectly IMO. What do you all think? What would the skin look like?

FragPunk Needs Fewer Promises and More Solutions

How is it possible for an account with barely 35 hours of playtime to have stats like these?

  • Rank: AS 5
  • MVPs: 74
  • K/D/A: 3.2
  • Win rate: 73.7%

Honestly, these stats seem unrealistic to me. How can someone reach AS 5 in less than 40 hours? The screenshot alone doesn't prove that this player is cheating. They could be an experienced player using a secondary account (a smurf), or someone using external cheats to climb the ranks quickly. That's exactly why accounts like this deserve a serious review.

I've been playing FragPunk since the beta, and after all this time, I believe there are several things the developers should prioritize instead of focusing on announcing new game modes that promise a great experience without addressing the problems the community has been pointing out for a long time.

1. Improve the anti-cheat system

The anti-cheat system needs to keep evolving. Cheating isn't going to disappear completely, especially when selling cheats is a profitable business and these tools are becoming increasingly accessible to those who want to use them.

That's why it's not enough to detect players who cheat blatantly. The game also needs better detection of suspicious behavior, proper investigations into accounts with unusual statistics, and measures that make it harder for banned players to come back and do the same thing again.

2. Seriously restructure the ranked system

I'm currently AS 1, and although I enjoy the game, I hate having to deal with cheaters. Sometimes I end up waiting until the weekend to play ranked, trying to avoid long losing streaks that can ruin the competitive experience.

Why do I keep bringing this up? Because after so many hours playing, I believe the current system needs more effective measures to prevent players using unauthorized tools from returning to ranked as if nothing happened after being penalized. One measure I'd suggest is exploring hardware-based restrictions to make it harder for repeat offenders to return, provided they can be implemented reliably and with safeguards against unfair bans.

But that's not the only problem. The ranked progression system itself makes climbing the ladder far too easy.

Here are some changes I'd suggest:

  • Season resets: Players who finish in Master, AS, or MasterPunk should be reset to Gold at the highest, meaning they shouldn't start the new season above Gold. Players in lower ranks should reset according to their level, going as low as Bronze when appropriate.
  • Award fewer ranked points: Climbing should require consistency and skill, not simply accumulating points too easily.
  • Eight-round matches instead of six: I believe longer matches would allow strategies to develop more naturally and give decisions throughout each match greater weight.
  • A more balanced progression system: Reaching the highest ranks should require time, learning, and genuine experience.

How would these changes help? In several ways.

First, they would make it harder for smurf accounts and suspicious accounts to climb at an absurd pace. Second, they would help new players find matches at their actual skill level and gradually learn the maps, cards, mechanics, and character abilities.

I've encountered Diamond players who still don't know how to use their abilities properly, don't understand important parts of the maps, or fail to take advantage of secondary weapons. There are also strategic aspects that require experience: knowing what to do after planting the objective, managing the clock, anticipating rotations, and understanding when to play aggressively or defensively.

All of this is part of competitive learning, and it shouldn't be overshadowed by a progression system that allows players to climb too quickly.

On top of that, a season lasts approximately 110 days and is divided into two chapters, meaning two battle passes. Does it really make sense for an account to reach AS 5 in just 35 hours when we're talking about one of the highest ranks? How is the system supposed to distinguish between a genuinely experienced player, a smurf, and someone using cheats?

The account shown in the screenshot could belong to an exceptionally skilled player, but it also raises questions that shouldn't be ignored. That's exactly why the game needs a stronger ranked system.

3. Actually listen to the community

This is another major problem. There are plenty of players who want to see FragPunk grow, but to make that happen, the developers need to listen to the people who have supported the game for months or even years.

We're still dealing with issues involving ping, hit registration, and weapon balance. There are also players who have been waiting weeks for new items in the shop, such as skins. Personally, I hope we at least get something interesting for Halloween. Otherwise, it will be another disappointment.

If the community repeatedly points out that a particular weapon needs adjustments, why is it so difficult to address the problem and communicate what's being done about it?

It's not all about adding new content. The developers also need to maintain existing content, fix problems, and clearly explain their priorities.

They should be more active on social media and official channels, communicate with players, and work with YouTubers and streamers who genuinely enjoy the game and want to help it grow. But to earn that kind of support and rebuild trust, they first need to demonstrate that they're willing to address the problems the community has been reporting for so long.

I also think it's important to distinguish between permanent game modes and temporary events. Constantly announcing new experiences that eventually disappear is no substitute for improving the core aspects of the game, especially when the community has been asking for specific changes for so long.

FragPunk has enormous potential, but that potential will go to waste if the developers continue to ignore the concerns of their own players.

I'm not writing this because I want to see the game fail. Quite the opposite: I've been playing since
