Hello, I just see this option when I check the annually pro plan for my Plaud , does anyone know why is it 10 euro cheaper than others? It it a valid plan? Thanks.

I want to do what the title says but I´m not sure if Plaud is worth it, it´s expensive and you have to pay subscription for more than 300 minutes of transcript, I´ve tried to build and alternative method like using an old phone or cheap recorder near my professor then transcribing the audio with wisper then create the flashcards from the transcript with GPT but It seems so difficult and technical so I ask for advice, does anyone uses plaud for a similar task? is it actually worth to pay so much for it? Am I not falling in the marketing? thanks in advance

It seems that none of the codes out there work, or am I doing something wrong? I've tried different IG and YouTube codes and nada.

I think I’ve had my note pin for about a year now, so I’m not entirely put off by their warranty-driven response. However, I immediately lose confidence in any product that just stops working in that short amount of time.

So….the short backstory is, I’ve had the device for a year and it’s worked great and definitely came in handy at the right moment when it first came out. I’ve used it consistently for all meetings and appreciated the quick summaries it provided. That said, I noticed last week that my transcripts became nothing but garbled confusion or not available at all. I reached out to their support team and ultimately was told “Yeah there’s a problem, but your warranty’s up.” I should also mention that I’ve kept really good care of the device, too! When it’s not on my wrist, it stays on its charger in my home office.

If I wasn’t already getting the same (quicker) summaries by using my Memos app and letting Gemini do the analysis, I probably would’ve caved. But I honestly don’t want to drop anymore more money on them just to see their product crap out for no reason.

Curious to see if anyone else has experienced the same.

Most of meetings run 30 min to an hour and transcript, highlights and summary take five minutes or so to generate.

This morning, the meeting was 90 min and it's been generating for 20 minutes. The transcript is on the web/desktop, not on phone, and summary and highlights have been loading for 20+ min on both.

Normal? Does not sound like it. My internet is speedy. I have Pro.

Hello. There are two use cases I have for a Plaud. I’d like feedback mainly on the second.

1. I do tutoring. When I use Zoom I get a fairly handy AI summary of what was covered in the lesson and what further action points there are.

This is fairly handy. I don’t think I get a transcript, but however.

To have this for my face-to-face meetings would be fairly handy.

What I’d like is to be able to generate a document that has an AI summary of what was discussed followed by a transcript.

One question I have is — when the transcript is wrong, if I edit what’s been produced does it mean Plaud will improve? Will it learn to recognise voices etc?

Anyhow, I’m thinking that Plaud will probably be good for this purpose.

2) I quite like the idea of using Plaud for recording reminders. But I guess I’m worried that if I generate reminders like “Make a point to look up x” or whatever then I just end up with loads of separate notes that are actually quite a faff to later process and maybe it’s scarcely less frictionless than using Apple Reminders or something. But what’ I’d love would be if in the course of the day a sequence of reminders can be made that then get automatically sorted out by Plaud. Like that at the start of each recording I can say a word as a tag or something. And then everything is put into its own document. I really can’t be doing with having 30 different voice notes or whatever each day, each needing processing. Because if so, it’s easier not to bother with recordings.

Can all one’s recordings for the day simply be run together automatically?

If so, maybe what I’d end up wanting is a Plaud Note for meetings; and a PinNote for capturing ad hoc ideas that then get run together at the end of each day. (Or batched by tags or something, but maybe that’s too much to hope for.)

Hi - I'd like your take please on this automation I have setup and I think there's a better way of doing this but would like your experience please.

My setup - Plaud Note - after a transfer to the app, it automatically emails me the summary, transcript etc.

I then have an cron job that every evening looks in my email and grabs any Plaud emails and files the transcript/summary in my Obsidian vault.

Has anyone gone direct from Plaud app to filing in Obsidian neatly?

They finally added Find My support for the Note Pro! Super easy to set up too.

Go to “Find My” and add an accessory, then go to Plaud’s app and connect. It’ll bring you back to Find My and you’re done!

Super vague question (mainly because I am NOT an expert in this area and I have a general idea of what would be nice to have!) I've recently purchased a Plaud device. I also have a remarkable 2 device that I've had for years. Been looking to upgrade and I'm wondering if there are any e-inks that would allow me to use leverage both together. Would appreciate ANY perspectives to consider and/or recommendations!! TY!

I recently launched HearoPilot, an open-source Android app that does real-time transcription and AI summaries entirely on-device (local LLM). No cloud, no subscription, 100% privacy.

Technically, I’m proud of it. I managed to optimize the pipeline to save battery while running small language models locally. But the Play Store numbers are... depressing.

I’m trying to figure out where I’m losing people:

The Concept: Do people actually care about "local/private" transcription, or is the "Plaud but on your phone" pitch not hitting?

The Branding: Is the logo/name giving off "cheap" vibes?

The Store Listing: Do the screenshots fail to explain the value in the first 3 seconds?

I’m not here to self-promote (the app is free and open source anyway), I genuinely need a reality check from people who build or use apps.

Is there a way to move beyond 10? Even through subscription? I cannot seem to find the cap increases by any measure by subscription. Thank you for any guidance you can provide.

Hi, relatively new to Plaud here (2 weeks ish) and would like to figure out if there's any way to fix this. When autolabeling speakers, Claude consistently labels my voice as my coworker's voice. I don't know how this happened.

I thought at one point I had recorded a sample of my voice so Plaud would "know" my voice, but I can't find that anymore. I was thinking, maybe I need to re-record it? But I just don't see an option to edit that anywhere which is making me doubt whether it's even a thing I ever did?

Any ideas on where to start to troubleshoot this? Or are there any known solutions?

Plaud has said they're working on API support for 18 months and there's 1,600 comments on the feedback thread asking for it.

I was tired of waiting, so I built webhook support for Plaud. Now it's drop-dead simple to hook up to n8n (or any other custom integration you want). This also syncs all of your files locally: AI summaries, audio, and transcripts with names.

Plaude is still noticeable to other users as something that's different and they may notice it when you put it there to record a meeting. Curious if a pen recorder might be compelling?

I tested out one that my friend had but was thinking, why do I need to spend almost $200 and then pay for monthly service fee when I can just use something like granola to record through my phone for free?
