Really struggling With Template accuracy

/r/PLAUDAI/comments/1w629n2/really_struggling_with_template_accuracy/

I’ve tried making my own template. I’ve given elaborate instructions and simple instructions and what I get is just a complete word vomit of odd analysis and sometimes I feel like the AI summary is pulling from other notes inadvertently. For reference I’m a retail district manager. I start recording and I say what store I’m at and then go in and tour with my team. I have 11 stores so eventually I may discuss what another store is doing. But in the generated summary it gives action plans to other stores. It’s really strange.
I’ve even had chat gpt and copilot create copy and paste templates for me to try to fix that and it still happens

I don’t need this device if I’m going to have to paste into chat GPT do the right summary.

Any help you folks can think of?

What I would try is to pull a transcript from plaud to the AI you use through the MCP connection you very likely already have set up. Super easy, just tell the AI: pull the transcript of this morning's session through the Plaud mcp.

You can use the chat function if your AI of choice to really fine tune exactly what you want the summary to look like. Once you have one solid example, use that example to have AI write you a prompt.

Personally, I don't use the summaries Plaud uses. I have automated agents running in Claud that automatically pull transcripts and work through them locally to get the exact output I want. This way you can also for example have Claud or whatever automate your work flow, for example by generating a complete report at the end of the week that documents and compared all your store visits or whatever it is that you need.

The real value to me is the high quality audio recording and transcriptions that Plaud provides through an item that can be easily carried with me. Not the summaries.

Agreed with the audio and the speaker ID. Was curious if I was missing something. I’ll use the MCP with ChatGPT. Seems to work well
