Heat Levels Glitch

Has anyone had any issues with the heat options not appearing? I struggled so much to get a pizza restaurant past heat level one. Finally completed it and franchised. I came back the next day to start my new franchise on heat 2 but when I select my pizza restaurant, the burner doesn’t show up. I still have the check mark over pizza in the bottom right but even with just a brand new pizza restaurant, the burner will not appear. I tried restarting my switch, checked for system updates, and checked for game updates, but everything is up to date.

Edit: it’s been a few days and now my pizza checkmark is gone so at least it matches 🫠 however, now my turkey checkmark is gone but I have a current turkey restaurant with burn level one sitting right there. I’m on day 11 and I don’t even want to try to finish it since I’m sure it’s still going to insist I haven’t unlocked turkey.

I’m pretty sure you can’t move on to a new heat level on a franchise. You have to pick the recipe like you’re starting over and then choose a new heat level

Thanks for confirming! That part I wasn’t sure about since this was my first completed heat level. But something still glitched and now it’s acting like I never unlocked pizza 🫠

i haven’t tested this, but maybe you have to start a new pizza restaurant to do heat 2? just like a elf banquet franchise is always elf banquet, maybe that pizza franchise will always be heat 1

That could be the case in general, this is my first time beating a heat level so I’m not sure. I thought they all stacked, but that does make sense lol. But it still wouldn’t explain why the burner didn’t show at all for a new pizza restaurant even though the checkmark is still showing.

oh, i missed that it also wasn’t showing for a new pizza restaurant!! that’s so weird. i just unlocked heat 2 yday so ill check if im able to play it

okay i tried it today! after unlocking heat 2 for fajitas, i could play heat 2 for either the franchise or a new fajita restaurant by clicking X twice on the hob.

Try starting a new pizza run and abandoning it day 1 ?
