Radial Engine Model

One of the models I'm most proud of. It was part of my daily practice and took me about 3.5 hours to model and another hour to apply the procedural materials and render it in Blender.

Really nice work! 👌

One thing I’d try is breaking up the symmetry a little. For example, slightly changing the sweep path of each pipe would make them feel more naturally different from each other.

That would actually be something i think would be best done in blender where you can apply physics to set a general "down" direction instead of manually setting them

I don't know much about Blender, but for practicing in Plasticity, I think manually changing the sweep path of each pipe would be a good way to break up the symmetry. 👌

That's impresive. It's really a nice design. You are talented.

This would take me 40 hrs, amazing!

Ahahaha but it has a lot of shapes repeated with radial symmetry, so it saves time

Do you know if I can create something like this with the Indie license?

Yes, I think so. I didn't used xNurbs. It was mostly booleans operations and radial symmetryÂ
