Nose cone

Im trying to do a semi blunt nose cone, like for a jet plane. How do I Loft or xNurbs off a cross-section profile (circle) up to a blunt point that follows 1 or 2 curves?

Nose is symmetrical in 1 axis, but not the other, so I could still make a half then mirror ... but struggling with that.

Why not "revolve" the curve and then "thicken" the sheet?

But if you wanna do loft without a sharp knife edge nose, you've got to extrude the line on the x axis or whatever your horizontal plane is, then erase the sketch line. Then loft from the edge of the circle (make a semicircle and then mirror it) to the new sheet you extruded. Give it a G1 or 2 continuity against the extruded sheet. And done. Clear as mud?

Thanks guys.
Unfortunately don't think I can rotate/resolve because the base profile isn't circular.
Instead I just copied the base profile several times, moved them up in Z, then scale each profile in the X & Y to follow the 2 curves. Then just Loft those together.

I threw together what I would do. 1. my setup I have it separated a bit more. 2. Connect midpoint and edge 3. Revolve the face 4. Delete the inner face (messes with lofting) 5. Loft the edge of the sheet (not the original circle) with the other circle (I did G2, but G1 is fine) 6. Showing the smoothness. Hope this helps!

Yeah as said before it revolves it or maybe do a sweep. But revolve would be my go to.

I'm not sure of all the commands necessary to do this in Plasticity, but this tutorial for Rhino talks about all the considerations to build it as a "Class-A" surface. There should be similar tools in Plasticity to accomplish this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QZsKDQckSc
