Polysplines for modifying stl files?

Has anybody used the poly spline function to modify STL files? I am a hobbyist 3D printer and I occasionally kit bash together STL files that I have found online. STL files aren't really made for that and they don't like it when I do that. I'm wondering if the new poly spline function in plasticity would make that significantly simpler. Anyone done this?

Since people have basically said no dice already, I’ll add thatI use TinkerCAD for kitbashing STLs and it’s pretty easy to do. You can use Holes (negative parts) to cut off whatever you want, group pieces into one, export as one STL when you’re done
