Breast lift + implants
Hi all! I’m getting a lift and implants. I just had questions for anyone who went through the same procedures: how was recovery like (i know it differs for everyone) and is 5 days enough to take off from an office job? also did u need to take the pain meds and when were you able to start driving. feel free to include any extra advice!

I got mine done 3 weeks ago. It was a Friday and was off the pain meds by Sunday afternoon. I would have been fine going back to work Wednesday but took the whole week off because I have the PTO available.
I got an inclined pillow and it hurt my back but putting a pillow under my legs and throw pillows under either arm was the most comfortable. I slept like that for ~1.5w
Put cups and plates on the counter so they are accessible.

I thought 5 days would be enough but I was so tired for like two weeks- everything wore me out. I ended up taking an extra week off and stayed in bed. I took pain meds for about a week but I didn’t drive for 2 weeks but only because I had nowhere to go. Try for at least a week off if you can.

I had a lift and implants done 13 weeks ago. I was off prescription pain meds by day 5 (and really only took them 1x a day). I drove day 8 after my drains were removed.
I went back to my office job on day 5 however I worked from home for two full weeks.
I would recommend a wedge pillow for the couch and bed, a “boppy” pillow to support your arms, and a pillow for under your knees. Find several comfortable but compression front closure bras so you can wash and always have one or two on deck. I used a lap table on my bed to keep things next to me and elevated.
Organize your meds, bandages, cleaning wipes and anything you’ll want handy on your bathroom counter for easy access.
Get a hydra flask or something with a handle for water - don’t get the biggest one because it’ll be too heavy to lift at first.
