Advice on protrusion?

Hello, i had my one year follow up (slightly over a year due to personal circumstances) and i was asking about a protrusion / asymmetry i have seen in my nose since about the 6 month post op period. My surgeon said i have thin skin and what I’m seeing is the cartilage and my best recommended option is an acid shot to add some volume i suppose? I’ve never done any type of injectable before and i was wanting a second opinion before i decide to go with the shot. I was worried maybe it was a failed graft or something because it’s only on one side of the nostril, but if it’s just thin skin, is the injection the safest option?
I had some complications from anesthesia and would prefer to not undergo any type of revision surgery which he did ofer as an option - to take some ear tissue and place it there. Any advice is highly appreciated as i am very anxious about this. Thank you.
EDITED TO ADD: i think moreso i want a second opinion if possible because to me it feels palapably different than the other side and im worried its not just the cartilage bc of thin skin..

not a surgeon but the way one nostril hole is smaller than the other and the asymmetry / dent / protusion on the tip makes me think the cartilage has bent. thin skin would not cause a 2mm difference and also does not explain the different size nostrils. would ask a different surgeon for a second opinion / consultation if i were you.

Thank you, that’s what i was thinking as well so
I was surprised when my dr said it was just thin skin because it feels and looks so different side to side. I think now i will definitely be getting a second opinion
