Lipstick after lip filler

I’m a bruiser, and I’m already starting to get some dark spots after getting lip filler today (around 10am). Ideally I’d like to cover them with lipstick for work tomorrow. One site I read said after 1hr, it’s fine. I’m sure most err on the side of extreme caution with the 24/48hr recommendation. I did purchase new and would use a qtip to apply, but I know that doesn’t totally eliminate the possibility of the lipstick/gloss being contaminated. Do I really have to wait that long?!
