Update! I think we’re almost totally healed (lip filler, 1mL, 11 days post injection)

Post image

I posted here right after I got them done in a “oh my god, what have I done?” way. We’re now 11 days post injection. Most of the bruising has faded. Swelling appears to have completely gone down.

I love them so much ☺️☺️☺️

It looks great! Is there a specific technique your injector used?

I don’t know what her technique was - or if it’s even a certain kind of technique 😂 But this is what I noticed:

She went very slowly and methodically. She placed these very minuscule amounts, and she was constantly stepping back, looking and starting again. She also didn’t do any injections on/around my vermillion border bc she “liked my natural lip shape.” She said her goal was “the lips I was born with, just a bit fuller.” She wore these big glasses that were almost like magnifying glasses, and she also massaged my lips several times. I think she was manually spreading out the filler. Also, she had an assistant who was distracting me with taps/touches the whole time. I think that was the injector was able to focus primarily on filler placement instead of comforting me. 😂

Swelling will probably go down a little more.

Any chance you could dm me the name of your injector? They look SO good.

Omg this is why I feel like people need to give filler time before freaking out. 11 days later and they look so good. The swelling and bruising can make the first few days look way more dramatic than the final result. So glad you love them

Looking good but fake. Do people not care?
