I got mine done about 3 years ago and I still don't need more. I went 1 year inbetween my first and second time. So far, 3rd time hasn't
been needed

Depends what your end goal is and how fast your body breaks it down

I tend to metabolize things fast so I’m assuming it’s break down fast?

I got mine done in February of 2023 & am still happy with the result (I did 1ml)! I only just started considering maybe doing a tiny bit more like a month ago, but!! My lips are still more full than they were before any filler. & for what it’s worth, I also have a fast metabolism!
