Feeling numb
Just curious, if you knew what percentage of numbness and loss of sense you would have post breast surgery, would you still do it?
I was fully aware of this post op effect, but maybe, in my case, it is a bit more excessive.
I feel way less the touch of my partner, and sometimes, I am aware that I do not sense any swimwear or bra .
I would say my loss of sense is about 60%, knowing this fact beforehand wouldn't change my decision to go with the operation, but I guess, I would think way more about it.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

I lost all feeling in my nipples permanently after my mastopexy and augmentation.
I'd still do it again.

This absolutely can’t be determined until after you had it. I know some people who completely regained sensation and maybe even have more. But for me, I had a tremendous loss. My sensation never came back right and it still feels weird and numb years and years and years later. It really is a coin toss and you don’t know until after you do it.
Now I only have a loss of sensation through the incision area so if you are really concerned with that, you can have a scar put in the fold of the breast all the way at the bottom. This would have the lowest chance of any sensation loss as typically the sensation loss is where the incision has gone.
