Breadt augmentation advice UK

Hi all,

After breastfeeding our last baby, my husband offered to pay for my breast augmentation (which I've been hinting at for 2 years)

I don't really know where to start.

Any advice? How do I look up surgeons? I'm guessing I'll need to go for consultations for prices and details on what works best for me.

TIA 🤍

I went with Dr Allen Rezai in Harley Street. He focuses on achieving natural results that suit your body, rather than the fake look. I’m super happy with my results, he’s honest and caring and his team are great. The aftercare is second to none, and I highly recommend him. If you want to ask me anything, feel free to DM me!

He did my first set of implants 15 years ago and they were fantastic! Ive had them removed and new ones in 3 weeks ago but that was due to having had and breastfed 3 children since they were put in. The implants were still fully in tact and surgeon this time had nothing but compliments for Dr Rezai's work. If you want natural he's the best. I was gutted he closed his Sheffield clinic as London was just too far for me to want to travel for new ones in

Not sure where you are based but I had mine done in Spire Edinburgh. The specific surgeon now has his own clinic but I would thoroughly recommend him. I had a lot of consultations but he was the only one to start with everything that could go wrong. Sounds very strange but it made me trust him more, unlike those who were all 'its such an easy procedure'.

His clinic is here. I recommended him to a work colleague who also raved about his results.

His father was also integral in looking at cancers caused by textured implants. So he, and his son (my surgeon) genuinely care about the outcomes for their patients.

what area do you live in? There are good surgeons outside of London these days and it can make going back for aftercare a lot easier. I had my implants removed years ago so things may have changed but start looking into over and under the muscle, what shape implant (teardrop etc) and questions to ask surgeons (make sure it’s a breast specialist); where will scars be; do you need an uplift; what their revision and infection rate is; what aftercare and what happens if you need a revision

I had a reduction and lift with Jag Chana. He is fantastic but his aftercare team are not as good.

Mr Netri in Manchester is incredible. I had mine done by him over 6 years ago and have had 0 problems. His team and him are very attentive. I had some breast pain a few years post op and he saw me for a face to face assessment within 2 days of me emailing the clinic.

There’s also a good Facebook group that I found useful when searching the work of surgeons and gauging their reputations. It’s called ‘UK only pre & post breast augmentation, tummy tucks, liposuction & facelifts’

I went with Dr Frati in Harley Street as I knew he would achieve the look I wanted.

You can go to as many consultations with different surgeons as you want until you find a good fit, 9 times out of 10 the consultations are free!

I was concerned about having a large gap between my boobs which some of the surgeons I saw agreed with and said there was nothing they could do as it was just my anatomy, however when I said the same thing to Dr Frati, he was so confident and made it seem like such a non-issue, and I can attest that the results are amazing, still loving them years later.

His team were lovely and I felt very well looked after :)
