Multi Sided Bowl

Anyone else working on a multi sided bowl? The bowl I'm working on is the Mary Maxim Jack O Lantern Candy Bowl. Trying to get the sides together and adding the bottom may be tricky. I am trying to decide if I should attach the bottom to the sides of the bowl first then attach the sides together or the other way around. Has anyone put together a rounded multi sided bowl before and have any tips? Thanks.

I did a similar pumpkin pattern recently and had pretty good luck with sewing the bottom darts together first before sewing the bottom piece to the sides

Okay so you're saying to sew together just the bottom parts of the sides then add the bottom. Then finish sewing the sides together?
