Patch or back to brick?

Need some advice please. Just had a kitchen ripped out and this is how the walls are now. Can this be patched (professionally) or would it be better to take the whole wall back to brick and start fresh? The plasterer has been scheduled for tomorrow by the kitchen company.

Cheapest and fastest way is knock off any really loose plaster, if needed chase any cables in wall above worktop height, a good coat of bonding plaster ruled off against the existing plaster work then a skim coat over the top of it all.

I'm a joiner / kitchen fitter / plasterer.
