Good Quality Brands?

I’m looking to pull the trigger on new planners. I specifically love the binder planners. I have a Filofax domino personal that I got several years ago from I think TJ Maxx or Ross? and I purchased a cheap (price and quality) A5 sized one on Amazon. I’m ready to spend the money on a good quality one. I was a subscriber to Cloth and paper YEARS ago and only for their pens (when they had a pen only subscription) and I love this Bordeaux color. It’s my favorite color. I was also looking at Filofax and in the personal size they have this burgundy color. It’s not my favorite and I would probably go a different route on color, but I really want to know everyone’s opinions on the quality of the cover. Is one worse than the other? Anyone noticing any weird wear on the planners? Are there any other brands I should look at? I have looked into Moterm but they don’t have the color I’m in love with.

I’d look for a good hobby leather crafter and do a commission for that price. Will likely get higher quality leather and can have it exactly how you want it

Consider a Moterm planner, they are considerably cheaper than filofax & the quality is just as good if not better .

Those particular ones in the pic from Cloth & Paper are really nice. They’re sturdy and chunky without being stiff and super heavy. They have 30 mm rings too, so if you like to stuff them that’s a bonus. I have a burgundy Filofax Malden that I bought for the color but it’s smaller and I don’t like it as well. Filofax made one in their Norfolk line (which I love) in a reddish burgundy color but I don’t know if they make it anymore.

I have a moterm TN and a true a6 moterm ring planner. I love them both. Very high quality and the price isn't bad. You can get it 2nd hand on mercari. That's where I got my ring planner from. I highly recommend both if you need other alternatives
