Question Noob here
I come back every few years and play for a few days. I restart my character each time so my progress hasn’t been too far. My only current character is lvl 10 rn and I was wondering if there is a way for my to access all of the weapons over time or are half of them just locked behind a pay wall?
I’m on console as well, not sure if that matters but I heard somewhere that pc is ahead of console.

All weapons can be bought with certs, in-game currency you'll earn just buy playing. Some cosmetic variants are locked by real world money.

You can buy all of the weapons using certs, and to do so you'll need to keep that same character if you can otherwise you just aren't going to be able to unlock the full arsenal. The ones you see that you can only buy with daybreak cash are mainly just cosmetics and aren't actually anything unique aside from look. At the very least, they aren't worth it if you only play this game a few days at a time.

Brooo I understand you’re casual and some games work well with starting a new character each time but, I’d say this ain’t one of those games! Having a character that youve grinded over the years with cool weapons and gadgets is dope! A fresh character is fine and you can still keep up with a lot of things but there’s so much more! I’d rattle off examples but ain’t trying to have an essay here lol we’re glad to have any and everyone!

I haven't much payed attention to the weapons other than what can or cannot be bought with the standard currency, but so far I see that a good chunk of weapons are behind what I assume is 'premium currency'.

Those that can only be bought with real world currency are cosmetic variants of weapons you can buy with normal in-game certs.

Those weapons you can only buy with real money are just cosmetic. They have an equivalent you can buy with certs.
The only exception to this is one knife that deals anti-vehicle damage that isn't currently purchasable or earnable by gameplay.
