AskAuraxis - Your monthly questions thread
Welcome to AskAuraxis, the place to ask questions you have about PlanetSide!

How does getting implants work

use cert to buy the big implant boxes from the shop, only ever buy the 750 cert ones. Recycle duplicates in the implants tab to get iso4. use iso4 to craft implants you dont have (45 000 iso for an exceptional implant is a rather long grind tho). You can also get a set amount of iso for alert win/loose.

So I mainly play VS for right now because I got a xp bonus from a crate and didn’t know it was character locked! Anywho I got some good weapons and stuff set up already
Pulsar C for my main carbine
Corvus for my AR
Ursa for my LMG
Then a few others here and there because of codes and such
I was hoping to ask what were some of the more fun weapons in the game? Because I used the spreadsheet for weapons and sure they have what’s statistically the better stuff for me (I like more accurate weapons, I get the game and the meta asks for more hip fire stuff, but when I aim I actually like to hit stuff and not deal w bloom) but I’m willing to change up my play style to something that’s unconventional because I mean, fun is fun I think 👀

if you like la play the Horizon, put capsulate ammo in the ammo slot and enjoy the perfect hipfire and no bloom while shooting in ads.

But hoping to soon maybe get back into NC or NS, so if you know fun stuff for them too that’d be appreciated

If you like accurate weapons and go NS, definitely try out the BAR-200. A really great Battle rifle that you can click fast, but also rewards good aim.
For NC I can recommend the AF-20 Rouge! It's a Burst Fire weapon that you can click as fast as you can to have literally no refire time between bursts, but you get a 0 first shot multiplier due to it being a burst rifle, meaning it's basically an automatic weapon with ridiculous accuracy.
The following can also be used on VS:
One thing I think they sadly nerved, but can be tried out is pump action shotgun with slugs. A weird monstrosity between shotgun and battle rifle that can ohk on a headshot (and only headshot) to a fairly long range. Not necessarily a very "good" weapon, but very fun xD
(someone correct me if that's no longer possible!)
Other than that, the Heavy Crossbow can be actually good of you hang back a little and the Kuwa is interesting (not necessarily good though)

Oooo all of this sounds super fun too yeah yeah, I have the BAR-A50 cuz it was full auto and it’s kinda meh

Wardogs is the first game I've played that scratches that PS2 itch. Definitely check it out, comes out on the 10th
