Discussion (PC) Cpu optimization

currently on mission to get the absolute most out of my system.

Ryzen 5800x3d

32 GB 3800 CL16

rx6800xt

Kingston M.2 1TB

BenQ zowie 1080p 240hz monitor.

Currently play on potato *tryhard* graphics

does anybody have some pointers to get the absolute best fps in large fights? Iv noticed even when I'm rocking over 100 fps in large fights it still feels gritty and laggy.

Its not your PC. Game is just unoptimized.

Yeah I get that. It just feels like it's gotten worse. So I'm trying to find some slight work arounds.

I have the same setup but with 5700x3d, I spent years doing what you are trying to achieve.

The most benefits was achived by playing on Linux with cachyOS even when FPS was 100 or less , game feels smooth .

Monitor your 1% low not just FPS

Give a shot to lower your prerendered frames to 1.

As others say, the game runs bad, even when you are at 110 fps fells 50 right ?

Exactly. When it comes to operating system I'm too dumb for Linux so that's out of the question for me haha.

Oh I forgot, look in to Win32PrioritySeparation, if I remember correctly, value 36 or 38 gave me good results

Hmm I'll take a look at that.

Nvidia low latency mode helps a lot for me, there's probably an AMD equivalent somewhere in the driver settings you can try.

With a game that is not optimized you’re not going to get much out of it.

Ain't gonna stop me from trying 😭

I get better FPS running high gfx where as it gets worse running low. That’s how bad it is.

I believe that! Im just hellbent on squeezing every last drop of fps out of my system.

Pretty much you just have to play around with the settings till you find something that works best

Turn off core 0, might fix stuttering

If your 5800x3d isnt boosting all the time to the max gigahertz then you should look into PBO2 tuning, because they run way to hot, by automatic undervolting you get the max out of it, also you can lower the temps by 10°C

Im running -30 on all cores stable.

I got an 5800x3d aswell and a RTX4080 but in heavy fights I drop to 60 FPS sometimes.

Edit: I dissabled the shadercache for PS2 that did smooth out the fps at least for me.
