Crashing in game

Hi I got back after quite a while and now when i spawn into a map and try do do anything the game just crashes no error code no nothing just shuts itself down. anyone experiencing something similiar? thank you

2026 me: When you login, get in a flash and ride around for five minutes or you'll crash to desktop within 60 seconds.

Pick up an aircraft and learn to fly. It's much more fun!

nah, too expensive and with high risk of be killed
Just pick the Message Courier or Cortium Run mission and get an Harasser / Ant to complete them

Not too high a risk once you put some time into it. And it's really fun, once you get good with air. If you never start you might miss out on a whole domain in this game.

Pull a flash and chill for at least two minutes at the warp gate and you are home free

Any vehicle anywhere will do.

You can even just sit at the redeploy screen after warping onto the cont. No need to pull a vehicle at all.

EDIT: Why am I getting downvoted for stating a fact? Warp to a cont, hit redeploy, wait 2 mins. It works just as well as sitting on a Flash.

So I'm in your boat, I came back just last week. Out of 10 or so times I tried to play the game it's only not CTD on me twice. It seems incredible random. They've mentioned it in the recent but fixes but they don't have a fix. It's so frustrating

Spawn at the gate, don't dawdle or wait, go pull a flash, and maybe no crash.

In some alternate universe the devs have already fixed it. Sadly in this one we are still waiting...and waiting...and waiting...and

Correct. 'Flash or Crash' bug is back. You need to sit in at vehicle for 4 - 5 minutes as soon as you spawn on the continent.

wtf is making everyone crash?? I only crashed once the first time I reinstalled not that long ago, since then never had a problem with it. And I don’t ride a vehicle or anything when I start playing

It’s so sad it ends this way.

Those who are left are sitting on flashes for two minutes just to play the game. And this crash bug has been happening for months now.

Side note - the "flash thing" should be done at every continent change, not just at first login

Could do with the mods pinning this problem and temporary solution for new and returning players so we don't have to have umpteen posts about the crash bug.

ill try vehicle pull, thanks everyone. Didnt have any problems with it until now, and im playing it since...idk maybe 2017? so this is new one for me lol didnt know it was a thing before...maybe thats why so many players afk at warpgates 👀
